A differential is a part that helps in delivering different torques to the wheels, according to the need. The differential fluid is necessary to keep the differential well-lubricated and smoothly functional. It also cools down the differential to increase its life span. 

Usually, we advise changing the fluid after 45,000 to 80,000 miles. But if you don’t change it at the required time, you may face:

• Noisy differential
• Failed differential
• Seized or noisy gears
• Locked rear wheels
• Higher possibility of an accident
